On call 24 hours a day, Gullion Ltd Loss Assessors and Surveyors help clients, who have suffered accidental loss or damage to their property, navigate the insurance claims process as well as manage the repair of their property, if they wish.
Once notified, your insurance company will appoint a Loss Adjuster to assess your claim. The Loss Adjuster will remain the insurance companies representative for the duration of the claim. You can appoint a Loss Assessor, like Gullion Ltd, to represent your best interests and negotiate the best settlement on your behalf to ensure that you achieve your full entitlement, under the terms and conditions of your policy.

When you contact us we will visit your property within 24 hours and provide a free survey and advice.
We work for you, not your insurance company and throughout the claim process we provide regular updates while promptly handling all aspects of your claim from initial reporting to your insurer, to the detailed preparation and negotiation of the claim and arranging alternative accommodation, where necessary, to complete all works.
We can also provide and manage trusted quality trades people to restore your home or commercial property, should you wish.

Helping you cut through insurance jargon by negotiating the best settlement on your behalf, our ‘no win no fee’ professional service is charged at a percentage of the claim settlement, which is agreed in advance so there are no hidden charges.

Niall Quinn
CO-FOUNDER AND COMPANY DIRECTOR
Niall holds a BSc Honours degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown with Diploma in Industrial Studies. He brings extensive experience to Gullion Ltd having worked for some of the leading building contractors throughout Ireland, the UK and Canada.
With an emphasis on delivering on time and within budget, Niall has a keen eye for attention to detail. He plays a major role at accurately estimating and assessing the cost of damage to a client’s property and the very real costs of reinstating the home or commercial premises. Flexible in his approach to solving problems and adding value, Niall is dynamic and consistent in delivering across all projects.
Paul Murchan
CO-FOUNDER AND COMPANY DIRECTOR
Paul is APA Qualified with the Insurance Institute of Ireland, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Surveying from the University of Reading and a BA Honours in Business Studies from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown.
Combining integrity and professionalism, the breadth of Paul’s skills portfolio is extensive and includes loss assessing, site surveying, estimating and project quantity surveying. Paul is results driven and with his wide range of experience and contacts within the industry, he always strives to deliver effective solutions with complete client satisfaction.

Loss Assessor
Or Loss Adjusters?
While both Loss Assessors and Loss Adjusters are involved in insurance claims, they have fundamentally different roles.
A Loss Adjuster is appointed and paid by the insurance company who will investigate the cause of the incident, the value of the loss or damage and whether you’ve met the T&C’s of your insurance policy.
We will gather evidence, compile and present your claim as well as negotiate with the Loss Adjustor on your behalf to get you the best settlement. Your Loss Assessor (US) works exclusively for the policyholder (YOU), advocating for your best interests.
